Kelly was named the executive director of Help Hope Live in November 2017. She arrives at Help Hope Live with a personal passion for the mission, having utilized the organization's services to assist with her mother's kidney transplant in 2007.
Kelly is a proven executive leader with more than 20 years' experience working in and leading nonprofit organizations. She has also been extremely active in community service organizations and projects.
As the CEO and founder of Go Green Consulting, Kelly has worked with a broad range of nonprofit organizations, providing strategic development, fundraising support, executive coaching, board development, and staff management services. She has demonstrated impressive vision, courage, and competence in restructuring organizations to create greater efficiencies and more responsive and effective services.
In the last decade, Kelly has also proudly served as the CEO of Variety - The Children's Charity, director of Montgomery County, PA Voters Services, and deputy director of the Institute for the Study of Civic Values in Philadelphia. In addition, she has contributed her time to many civic endeavors, including serving as president of the League of Women Voters of Philadelphia and as an investigator for the Philadelphia Bar Association Judicial Selection and Review Committee. She also designed and painted a local community mural to inspire peace; serves on a board to work with homeless veterans; and is a longtime supporter of the Gift of Life Family House, which provides lodging and support for families of transplant patients seeking treatment in Philadelphia.
Kelly has a degree in administrative justice from Penn State University and earned certifications in program development and anti-violence training from Temple University while working toward her MSW.
She lives in Philadelphia and has an amazing daughter, Maya, and a pet frog, Bloopy.
What you won't find on Kelly's résumé "I am really great at making balloon animals. I have also had some interesting life experiences. Just in the last couple years, I have rappelled down a Center City skyscraper (29 stories!), ziplined in Mexico, Hawaii, and even Pennsylvania. I organized a team to pull a plane, completed a Mudderella, and managed to do the Polar Bear Plunge twice! I'm surviving my daughter's teenage years, LOVE Peanut M&Ms but prefer a plate of fresh veggies any day. I believe the best experiences are those which I haven’t had yet!

Jen holds a master’s in social work with a concentration in community organization. Prior to joining Help Hope Live, Jen worked for The Cam Neely Foundation for Cancer Care, helping in their fundraising division; worked as a case manager for children with mental health needs; and enjoyed 10 years as a stay-at-home mom for her five children. Jennifer loves connecting with Help Hope Live families and feels fortunate to be part of their journey toward health and a better quality of life.

Passions Jennifer loves spending time with her husband and five children, gardening, exercising and being a traveling hockey mom.

After happily thriving as a stay-at-home mom for 15 years, Susann found herself looking through the want ads and responding to a job description, it was a receptionist position for a non-profit. She brought all the lessons learned from being a mom: have an open heart, attentive listening skills, a joy of teaching and forming a connection with another human being, and then relayed these through the phone every time it rang. Moving from receptionist to Fundraising Coordinator in the Fundraising and Patient Services Department was the logical next step.
Susann’s focus remains the same as it was 15 years ago: the patient, their family and their friends. Whether answering the phone and being that first point of contact or encouraging and guiding others through the details of a fundraiser, it always begins the same, ”How can I help you today?”

Debbi took care of her Great Uncle, her hero, “Unckey” for almost twenty years. These were the most rewarding years of her life. Because of this, Debbi understands the burdens of uninsured medical costs all too well. She received her dual bachelor's degree from Immaculta University in Health Care Management and Human Performance Management to further understand the complexities of health care and the factors that influence development, resources and growth.
Before finding Help Hope Live, Debbi was searching for an organization that had comparable values as she did personally. Help Hope Live stood out to her as an organization that delivered experience, tools and individual patient relationships.

Marie is a marching arts fan as well as a "beachaholic": her retirement plan is to sell margaritas surfside. Family, friends, and, of course, her pup are the priorities in her life. She loves traveling to new cities around the U.S. Marie calls herself "the quintessential tourist."

Frank is a longtime resident of Philadelphia who grew up in California and the Pacific Northwest. He graduated with honors from Temple University with a bachelor's in business administration. Frank worked in management positions in the hospitality and retail industries, then returned to school for a degree in accounting.

Sonny recently moved to the Philadelphia area after spending more than 10 years in New York City. For eight of those years, she proudly served as Robin Roberts’ assistant on Good Morning America, where she was able to gain experience working with people from many different backgrounds.
In 2006, after graduating from Fordham University, Sonny joined the Jesuit Volunteer Corps and spent a year in Mobile, Ala. serving as a caseworker for Catholic Social Services. Her experience in Mobile and her time working with Robin along with additional experience in volunteering and the nonprofit space led her to want to serve others in a meaningful way through her career at Help Hope Live.

An organization like Help Hope Live allows me to help make the lives of families and siblings just like mine a little bit easier. After working for years in the mortgage industry, Terri stayed home to raise children and spent several years volunteering for nonprofits before returning to work as a bookkeeper for an independent contractor.

Director of Communications
Shannon began working at Help Hope Live as a college intern and never looked back. She has more than 10 years of experience in public relations, digital marketing and print design.
A millennial, Shannon has used her knowledge of new media to help transform Help Hope Live’s fundraising model into a multi-pronged approach that focuses on traditional, online and social fundraising. She continues to stay on top of trends and is constantly working to improve the online fundraising experience for the individuals and families we serve.
In 2008, Shannon was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. She has experienced firsthand what it’s like to live with a chronic disease and the high cost of care and maintenance that comes with one. Naturally, her passion for our mission has since grown stronger, and it continues to grow as she connects with thousands of people through our newsletter, website and social media pages who struggle to afford needed but uncovered medical care.

After working for a Philadelphia startup for two years, Emily left the marketing world to pursue her true calling: work that would improve the circumstances of others on a daily basis. Finding her professional home at Help Hope Live, Emily uses her marketing experience to support clients and enforce a strong brand identity for Help Hope Live across all social platforms.
Emily relies on her background in digital journalism and content creation to manage Help Hope Live’s Blog and social media accounts. She also supports Help Hope Live clients in their efforts to fundraise by facilitating media outreach through custom patient press releases.

Passions Spending time with her husband and two cats, volunteering, spirituality, and guacamole
Shortly after earning her master's in social work, Cathy joined the Help Hope Live team in 2002. Cathy initially served as a Patient Services Coordinator, mentoring patients, families and community members through the process of grassroots fundraising. In 2005, after the birth of her first child, her professional role evolved to help the organization with its increasing web-based communication needs. Today she assists with a number of “behind the scenes” projects and helps to facilitate the organization’s online presence.
Cathy attributes her passion for the work and mission of Help Hope Live in part to her personal experiences as the wife of a cardiac patient. Her husband underwent heart valve transplant surgeries in 2000 and 2010, along with myriad of cardiac procedures and ongoing monitoring. This first-hand experience has heightened her understanding of the complex physical, emotional and financial challenges facing patients, caregivers and loved ones.
Why I love Help Hope Live “I feel extremely blessed to be a part of a group of such caring professionals. No one is immune from facing a medical crisis in their lives. Over the past 12 years, I have witnessed countless stories where we have made a concrete difference in the lives of others. I’m a firm believer that we all need to ‘pay it forward’ and it’s a gift to do that in the workplace.”
Passions Outside of work, Cathy embraces her life as a busy mom of three. She loves to spend time with her family and friends, and is active in her church and school communities. A true “foodie” at heart, she is extremely passionate about cooking, baking and entertaining. She also has a love for the arts, sports and travel.

Kelly graduated from Wagner College in Staten Island, NY with a degree in Arts Administration. Her passion has always been in the world of theatre and the arts. After years of working in retail and property management, Kelly was looking for an organization where she could make a difference in people’s lives - and Help Hope Live was just that place.

Chief Technology Officer
Bill joined the Help Hope Live team to share his diverse knowledge of the latest technology and programming advancements to help our clients broaden the online reach of their fundraising campaigns and to streamline business applications for staff.
Bill is a graduate of Millersville University with a bachelor’s in computer science. He has a wide range of experience with IT systems, software development, team leadership, and is a recognized leader in development of industrial software solutions.
Staying on top of technology changes and leading a team to capitalize on their advancements is a task Bill is determined to do well.
Why I love Help Hope Live I want to do everything I can to help people with medical problems raise the money they need to heal and thrive. My wife and I personally experienced a medical tragedy when we lost our first child to a rare medical condition called lissencephaly. I cannot tell you how much I have cherished and valued support from friends and family in times of need. I am truly grateful to be working with Help Hope Live so I can use my skills to connect people who need support with the wonderful and loving people who want to help them.
Passions When Bill is not learning about new tech he enjoys spending time with friends, running and being outdoors. He also enjoys helping his boys operate a Minecraft server and create YouTube gaming videos. Bill resides in Chester Springs, Pa. with his wife Katey and two sons.
Director of IT Services
Janice brings to Help Hope Live more than 33 years of diversified experience in application development and support, project management and consulting in the financial, telecommunications, and manufacturing industries. Since joining Help Hope Live in July of 2006, Janice has been responsible for managing, implementing and supporting numerous Information Technology projects.
Most recently, Janice has used her project management and technical experience to launch new campaign pages to help patients raise more money for their medical bills online and on-the-go. Throughout the year and into next, she will continue to manage the roll out of new website features.
